Goal​

To block system access for a system user in Mapp Engage.

Prerequisites​

  • You have permission to block system user accounts: ​2000 System Administration: View and Edit All System Users.
    If this permission is not granted to your system role, contact your customer representative.

  • The system user account that you want to block is assigned a system role that is ranked lower than your own.

Background Information​

Do not delete system users. Mapp Engage associates processes with the profile (for example, automation or billing items). If you block a system user, all processes that are connected to the system user remain untouched.

A blocked account impacts the possibility of logging in to your system. All other processes remain unchanged.

To replace someone who is leaving your company, change the email address of this system user. Assign the old system profile to the person who takes over the job.

Procedure​

  1. In the main navigation, click ​User Management​ > ​System Users.
  2. Next to the system user, click  > ​Block . The system user account is blocked following an additional confirmation request. The system user can no longer log in to Mapp Engage.
