You can now enable a temporary session ID, allowing for better data quality when using Anonymous Tracking!

Key Benefits

Anonymized tracking (also known as cookieless tracking) lets you collect information about your page's visits without user-identifiable data. Because you always want to respect your visitor's privacy, and some data is better than nothing! The temporary session ID is only used to prevent session breaks, not stored to re-identify users on return to the website or app after the session has ended.

How does it work?

You can set this new method (setTemporarySessionId) with any of our tracking libraries after you have updated to the latest version. Please see the relevant documentation:
