Event-based automations

In event-based automations, you can limit:

  • whether a contact can trigger the event,

  • contacts that will be impacted by the trigger.

Some whiteboards require a selection. For example, the automation that you use to send birthday message requires a selection.

All automations provide an input field where you can add a selection.

Procedure

  1. Go to Automations > Whiteboards.
  2. Create a whiteboard. The interface provides a drop-down list where you choose the type of selection.
