Here you can create alerts for the selected account or select a predefined alert template from the Alert Library. Since August 2020 the Smart Alert Library is available in your account. The predefined alert templates enable you to create smart alerts for different areas such as "Marketing" or "E-Commerce" in no time. You do not even have to worry about which metric or dimension to apply. The only thing you must decide is when you want to get notified, for example when "the engagement of the users changes". The associated metric and dimension is filled in automatically. With a few last clicks, you adjust sensitivity and frequency and enter the e-mail addresses of the recipients. Your alert is set up and ready to go.

  • Rule-based Alert
You select the criteria when an Alert should be triggered.

    • Change by absolute: checks for a change of an absolute number

    • Change by %: checks for a change of a relative share

    • Greater than:  checks for an absolute number

    • Smaller than:  checks for an absolute number

Sensitivity

(only for Alert type Smart Alert)

Lets you decide, how tolerant the trigger is to unexpected values.

Frequency

Determines how often an alert is checked.

  • Hourly: Once per hour. Data is always checked for the hour before the last hour as it must be assured that all data is available. Example: An alert recognized at 11am shows an anomaly for the hour 9–10.

  • Daily: Once per day. The check is done in the morning (system time) when the data for the previous day is available.
