Landing Page Preview (window)
Navigation Path
To access this window at any time when you create a landing page, click the Preview Landing Page button.
To access this window for a landing page that is displayed in a list, click the View action.
Purpose
This window provides a visual preview of the landing page. You can preview personalizations with the profile attributes of any contact in the system.
What can I do in this window?
Preview your landing page.
Simulate the effects of personalization placeholders and rules by entering a different preview address or by entering different profile attribute values. This feature lets you check that the personalizations display properly when a contact visits the page.
Download the preview as an HTML file.

Settings
When you first open the Landing Page Preview window, Mapp Engage generates the preview with values from the profile that is associated with your system user account. The settings in this window help you preview the landing page as it would be personalized for other contacts.
Setting | Description |

Test Address | Defines the email address to use for the preview. To see what the landing page looks like for a specific contact, enter the email address of any contact. To display the profile values and personalizations for the email address you enter in this field, click the Update Preview button. |
Landing Page (HTML) | Displays a preview of the landing page. This preview is displayed as it would appear in the web browser currently in use. Problems that can occur when viewing the landing page in a different web browser are not identified. |
Attributes
The Attributes settings allow you to enter profile attribute values and to see how the content and display of the personalized landing page changes. The Attributes settings are only visible if your landing page includes personalized content.
The preview includes both types of personalizations:
Personalization placeholders insert values (for example, first name) from a profile, group, or member attribute.
Personalization rules tell Mapp Engage to insert content only when a condition is true - for example when the contact is a woman.

Attributes | Selects an attribute to be used in the preview window. The drop-down list shows only the attributes that are referenced in the personalizations on the landing page. To preview the content with the respective value, enter a value in the input field and click the Update Preview button. |
Add All | Makes all attributes in the email available for preview. This setting adds only the attributes that are referenced in the personalizations on the landing page. To preview the content with the respective value, enter a value in the input field and click the Update Preview button. |
Update Preview | Updates the preview to reflect the defined attributes. The personalization placeholders and personalization rules are resolved according to the attribute values in the input fields. |
