1. In the ​Top Navigation​, click  | .

  2. Click ​User Groups​.
    ⇒  The ​User Groups​ window opens.

  3. Click by the user group you want to add a permission to.
    ⇒  The ​User Group Permissions​ window opens.

  4. Click the ​Add Permissions​ button.
    ⇒  The ​User Group Add Permission​ window opens.


Purpose​

Add a permission to the user group.

Setting

Description

​ Access​

Displays a drop-down list from which you choose the actions you want members of the user group to perform. Actions include read, edit, create, delete, all actions, or no actions (to explicitly block access).

  • Allow All:​ Grants the user group permission to read, edit, create, and delete the items specified.
  • Deny All:​ Withholds permission to read, edit, create, or delete the items specified.
  • Custom:​ Allows you to specify individually the actions members of the user group can carry out.

​Item Type​

Displays a drop-down list from which you choose the item type the user group can access.

  • ​Data Collection Pixels​
  • ​Platform Integrations​

​Item Scope​

Displays a drop-down list from which you specify the scope of items group members can access within the selected item type.

  • All Items:​ Grants members of the group access to all items within the specified item type.
  • ​Individual Items:​ Opens the ​Item List​ input field to specify individually the items to be accessed.

​Item List​

Appears when you select ​Individual Items​ from the ​Item Scope​ drop-down list.

  • To specify individual custom audiences and lookalike audiences, enter the corresponding IDs in the input field. Separate your entries with commas.
  • To specify individual pixels, enter the corresponding IDs in the input field. Separate your entries with commas. Pixel IDs are listed in the ​Data Collection Overview​ window.
  • To specify individual platform integrations, click the field to display a drop-down list and select the desired platform. Your selection is entered into the input field. You can select more than one platform.

A permission grants members of the user group access to items of only one item type, either audiences, data collection pixels, or platform integrations. To grant members of a user group permission to work on items of a second item type, create a second permission.
