Landing pages are special websites created in Engage that can be accessed, for example, via a link in an email. Landing pages are created, edited, and managed in the Engage system. You can fully control the layout and design. With this feature, you can quickly and easily implement new campaigns - without an external agency, saving you time and costs. Create informative landing pages to complement your marketing campaigns, or design web forms to optimize communication with your recipients.

Tracking on Landing Pages

With the help of Engage, activities on your landing pages can be tracked in different ways:

Add a tracking pixel for use with a web analytics tool

A tracking pixel that can be used to track conversions is provided by an external web analytics provider. This tracking pixel can be added to the HTML code of the landing page. Using this pixel, data can be collected and evaluated on the interface of the web analytics tool.

Web analytics tools include, for example:

  • Mapp Intelligence
  • Google Analytics
  • Adobe Analytics
  • eTracker

Export Tracking Data

You can export many statistics using the data export functionality, which offers many export options - independent of tracking pixel or external web analysis evaluations.

For more information, see Create an Export for Tracking Data.

The following types of data can be evaluated:

  • Type of tracking data (page impressions or link click)
  • Number of unique visitors to the landing page
  • Whether the visitor came to the landing page via an email campaign link, search engine, or other website
  • Date and time of page impressions or link clicks
  • Identification of visitors, if these exist in the system
  • Identification of the message: Identification of the message that produced visits & clicks
  • Location of the visitor: country, region, city
  • Technical information about the type of device, operating system, browser, etc.

Add a tracking pixel

You can create a tracking pixel for measuring conversions in Engage. This is set up in the window New Conversion Tracking. To use a tracking pixel for conversion tracking, the pixel must be (1) added to the message using a Engage variable, and (2) added to the web page (website, landing page, or shop system).

For more information, see Create a Tracking Pixel.
