Use the Task Monitor to review the status of any task that runs in the background of the system. A background task is something that operates "behind the scenes". You can work within other areas of the system while selected process is active in the background.
Background tasks include the following.
Exports
Imports
Segment fills
Segment splits
Statistic filters
Bulk deletes
You can review and filter by task type, author, run date, and status. You can view a description if the description was added at the time the task is processed. However, you cannot use the description content to search and filter.
The Task Monitor is organized into two functional areas, Processing & Completed Tasks and Recurring Tasks .
