The Split Analysis Tab

The Split Analysis tab offers a visual overview of all messages in the split sendout, including the main sendout (if available). The bar graph visually depicts up to 11 messages, depending of the criteria settings. The data used to compare the variations is selected from the drop-down menu Compare By.

Bar Chart

The bar chart displays all of the messages sent in the split sendout. The chart includes up to 11 messages. The main sendout is included (if applicable). The data used to compare the variations is selected from the drop-down menu Compare By.

Every split message in the sendout is assigned a chronological number. The numbers begin at 0. The messages are displayed in the chart by variation number, from left to right. The selection in the menu  Compare By  does not change the display order. If a main sendout took place, the main sendout is always the message furthest to the right in the diagram.

  • Compare By: This drop-down list defines the criterion according to which the message variations are analyzed. The chart updates automatically according to the selection. The highest and lowest values for the selected criterion are represented by horizontal lines on the chart.
    The following categories are available:

    • Confirmed Open Rate: The chart compares all variations on the basis of their  Confirmed Open Rate.  Confirmed Open Rate  is the default setting for the chart.

The Confirmed Open Rate is calculated according to the eec as follows:

Confirmed Open Rate = Confirmed Openers / Accepted messages

    • CTR: The chart compares all variations on the basis of their CTR (Click Through Rate).

The CTR is calculated according to the eec as follows:

CTR = Clickers / Accepted messages

    • Conversions (Total):  The chart compares all variations on the basis of their Conversions (Total) (per Message).

    • Unsubscribe Rate:  The chart compares all variations on the basis of their Unsubscribes.

The unsubscribe rate is calculated as follows:

Unsubscribe Rate = Unsubscribes / Accepted messages
