Permissions for Personal Data

Engage uses roles and permissions to grant users access to information and functions in the system. Certain permissions grant access to personal data for contacts. In many countries, there are regulations or guidelines that aim to protect collected data by keeping it secure. One method for protecting personal data from potential abuse is to limit who has access to it.

Use the permissions to restrict access for system users so that they only have access to information in the system that they really need to carry out their daily tasks. This guarantees the security of sensitive personal data stored in the system.

Engage offers permissions that limit access to user data, billing data, and statistical data. You can enable these permissions for specific system roles. You can then assign these roles to users that should have access to view, download or export personal data.
