Background Information​


The default method for collecting digital media activities uses a pixel-based integration. In this method, you add the corresponding pixel to the ad unit as a third-party impression, or as a click tracker in the execution platform. These pixels can be exported directly from within the Mapp Acquire interface and are different for each platform.

However, to import accurate data from digital media activities, Mapp can also set up S2S, or API integrations with execution platforms such as ad servers. This solution involves a custom integration. The actual use case determines the suitable integration in a given situation. The pixel-based integration involves industry-accepted discrepancies, and this integration allows you to identify a user for audience-building purposes. The other types of integrations are normally used for reporting purposes only.

Enable Integrations

  1. ​In the ​top navigation​, click your name, then click Settings. The Settings section opens to the Account tab.
  2. Click ​Integrations ​ to expand the Integrations tab.
  3. In the ​Enabled​ column, click the toggle switch for the integration that you want to enable.
  4. Click ​Add Integration​. A drop-down menu appears with the name of the integration.
  5. Click the new menu or the ​^​ arrow. A panel opens where you enter the settings for the integration.

  6. Enter the information that is required for this integration. Click Activate Integration. The integration is pending until approved.

Disable Integrations​

  1. In the ​Integrations​ window, click the toggle switch for the integration that you want to disable. A confirmation pane opens.
  2. To disable the integration, click ​Yes​. The integration is disabled.

Delete Pending Integrations​

  1. In the ​Integrations​ window, click the name of the pending integration that you want to disable. The details for that integration open.
  2. To remove the pending integration, click ​Delete Integration​. A confirmation pane opens.
  3. To delete the integration request, click ​Yes​. The pending integration is deleted.
