This job was previously called: Increment User Attribute.

This job incrementally increases or decreases a numerical user attribute. Both standard and custom user attributes can be changed. Member attributes and group attributes cannot be changed. The contacts whose user attributes are changed are selected from the system-wide databank with a mandatory selection.

The attributes of system users with the same or higher system role are not changed.

Basic Settings

​Name​

This input field defines the name of the automation. The name is used to identify the automation in the system. It appears on the ​Time-based Automations Overview​ window. The maximum length is 100 characters.

​Description​

This input field defines a description of the automation. The description makes it easier to identify the automation in the system.

​Job​

This input field defines the job. For a list of all available jobs, see​ All Available Time-Based Jobs​.

Define Job​

This area defines the specific parameters of the job.

  • Attribute Name: This drop-down list defines the user attribute that is increased or decreased. The drop-down list displays all user attributes in the system with the data type ​Number​. Both custom and standard user attributes are displayed.

  • Increment Amount: This input field defines the value by which the attribute is increased or decreased. The input field only accepts numeric values. It is possible to enter a positive or negative number. A positive number increases the attribute value. A negative number decreases the attribute value.

Define Selection​

  • Selection: This drop-down list defines a selection. A selection filters contacts according to defined conditions. Use the  symbol to search all selections in the system.
    If a selection is applied, the attribute is changed only for contacts in the selection.
