This filter checks the membership status of a contact in one or more groups.
Configuration
Group
Defines the group or groups that the system checks. Click the input field to select groups from the drop-down list. You can select up to 15 groups. To remove a group, click the 
symbol.

Any of the following | Checks for contacts with the specified Membership Status that belong to any of the selected groups and adds them to the selection. |
All of the following | Checks only for contacts with the specified Membership Status that belong to all the selected groups and adds them to the selection. |
Membership Status
Defines the membership status that the system looks for. The system checks if the selected membership status applies to either any or all the selected groups. By default, Active membership status is selected.

Active | Selects contacts who receive messages from the group. Pending members and deactivated members are excluded. |
Deactivated | Selects contacts who do not receive messages from the group. Contacts are automatically deactivated for a group when their email address generates too many responses (for example, spam complaints). |
Not a Member | Selects contacts who are not a member of the group. |
