- In the Main Navigation, click Messages > Draft Messages > Email.
⇒ The Draft Messages window opens to the Email tab.
This window displays an overview of all draft messages in your system. Draft messages are not yet assigned to a group. Mapp Engage sorts the messages onto separate overviews that are based on the sendout channel of the message. Draft messages have not yet been scheduled or sent.
What can I do in this window?
Create or edit a draft version of an email message.
Access overviews of the draft messages that are saved on your system arranged by channel.
Copy, or view a prepared message.
Archive or delete a prepared message.
Select two or more draft email messages for a split sendout.
Opens the Message Creation window. Here you select a message channel and create a message.
Opens the message in view mode. You cannot change a message in view mode.
Opens the message in edit mode.
Creates a copy of the message and opens the Compose Message window. The copy has a new message ID. You can edit and save or send the copy of the message.
Creates a split sendout test with two or more selected draft messages.
Archives the selected messages. Archived messages cannot be used, but remain stored in the system.
In a split sendout, multiple variations of an email message are created as drafts. These variations are sent to a portion of your total recipient list so that you can identify the highest-performing version. The most successful message variation can then be sent to the remaining recipient in the group. This main sendout is either started manually, or scheduled for a set date and time. You can select up to ten draft messages for a split sendout.
Shows the message ID. The message ID (MID) is a unique number that Mapp Engage generates to identify the message in the system.
Subject / Name
Shows the subject and name of the message. The top line is the subject. The bottom line is the name.
Shows the name of the system user who created the message. It is not possible to transfer ownership of a message. Even if another user edits the message, the author does not change.
Shows any tags that are assigned to the message.
Shows the timestamp when the message was first saved.
Shows the timestamp when the message was last updated and saved.
Shows the size of the message in kilobytes.
