CSE Settings (window)
- In the Main Navigation, click Content > Content Store.
⇒ The Content Store window opens to the All Files tab.
- In the Actions column, click
⇒ The Content Store Element Settings window opens. > Settings.
Content Store Element Settings (Window)
Shows the ID of the content store element. When you create a content store element, Engage assigns a unique ID number automatically. You can use this ID number to search for the element from anywhere in the system.
Shows the email address of the system user who created the CSE. It is not possible to change the owner of the CSE.
Shows the name of the content store element. The name does not have to be unique and can be edited.
If you uploaded the image to a CMS paragraph, Engage uses the file name to generate the name of the CSE.
If you uploaded the image during HTML email creation, Mapp Engage uses the name of the image in the message body to name the CSE. For more information, see Store Email Images to the Content Store Automatically.
Shows the email address of the author of the CSE (if applicable). When multiple team members work on the same email, the system user who is responsible for the content of the CSE is the author. The author and the owner do not need to be identical.
Shows when the CSE is needed. When multiple team members work on the same email, you can set a deadline for content delivery.
Send Reminder: Sends a reminder email to the author of the CSE about the due date of the CSE. Engage sends the reminder message immediately.
Identifies the type of content. Mapp Engage supports the following file formats:

Each content store element is automatically sorted to the correct tab depending on the MIME type of the file. The All Files tab displays all content store elements on one tab.
Visible to Everyone
Defines whether the content store element is visible to all users in the Engage system.
Shows when the element was added to the content store. Use the calendar icons to filter for content store elements that were created within a specific date range.
Shows the date when the content store element expires. After the element expires, it is deleted from the system.
Automatic Expiration Date
Deletes the element 180 days after the last time the element is used in the system. Each time the element is accessed, Engage resets the time before expiration to 180 days. If the element is not accessed for six months, it is deleted from the system.
Shows the file encoding for the content element (if applicable).
Shows the status of the content store element. The status is set in the Settings window. The message author sets the status to indicate whether the content store element is ready to be used in a message.
A content store element can have one of the following states:
