Objective

Send different email content to different types of contacts without creating multiple emails. For example, prepare one email that includes two separate blocks with different content that depends on the contact's activity preference: walking, or sailing.

Prerequisites

Contact activity preferences saved in the Engage system, in the form of a custom attribute.

Segments

A) Walking

 Show detailed configuration
  • Condition
    Use Profile Attribute > Equals: Walking.

B) Sailing

 Show detailed configuration
  • Condition
    Use Profile Attribute > Equals: Sailing.

Follow-up Actions

Create two blocks, one for each segment in the email you wish to send out. Use the segments as Sendout Conditions in the relevant blocks.
