Goal​

To create a framework for your block components.


Procedure​

Create a Framework

  1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Content​ > ​Email​.
    ⇒ The ​Email​ window opens to the ​Email Messages ​tab.
  2. Open the ​Frameworks​ tab, click ​Create​ in the lower left of the window.
    ⇒ The ​Create New Framework​ window opens.

  3. Define the framework information.
    In the ​Type​ drop-down menu, select ​Email​ or ​Microsite​.
    In the ​Name​ input field, enter a name for the new framework.
    The description field is not mandatory but it is helpful. Enter a description to provide additional information about the framework.

  4. To save all changes and proceed, click ​Save​.
    ⇒ The ​Compose Framework​ window opens.
    For detailed information on the framework name, description, and creation, click the ​Information​ button.


Enter the Code for the Framework

  1. Define the framework code.
    If you have no HTML knowledge, you can paste the framework code that is provided by your email developer into this window.

  2. To save all applied changes, click ​Save​.
    To close the ​Compose Framework​ window, click ​Close​.
    You are prompted to save your changes or close and lose unsaved changes.


Edit a Framework

  1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Content​ > ​Email​.
    ⇒ The ​Email​ window opens to the ​Email Messages ​tab.
  2. Open the ​Frameworks​ tab, click ​Create​ in the lower left of the window.
    ⇒ The ​Create New Framework​ window opens.

  3. Define the framework code.
    If you have no HTML knowledge, you can paste the framework code that is provided by your email developer into this window.

  4. To save all applied changes, click ​Save​.
    To close the ​Compose Framework​ window, click ​Close​.
    You are prompted to save your changes or close and lose unsaved changes.
