    ⇒The ​Landing Pages​ window opens.

The CMS Landing Pages window​

The Landing Pages​ window provides an overview of all of the landing pages stored in the system.

Here, you create, edit, and publish landing pages. You can also deactivate published websites on this page.

Description

​Filter​

This button applies the set filter.

​Remove filter​

This button removes the applied filter.

​Visible rows​

This drop-down list defines how many rows are displayed per page. You can choose between 10, 20, 50, or 100 rows. The default display is 10 rows per page.

​Arrows​

The arrows (can be used to move between the individual pages. The arrows are only visible when there are more entries available than can be displayed according to the current settings for ​Visible Rows​.

​Select All​

This checkbox selects all rows on the page.

​Delete​

This button deletes any selected items, after an additional confirmation question.

If a landing page is deleted from the system, all data collected for this landing page are deleted as well. It is then no longer possible to export the tracking data for the landing page.

Description

​New Landing Page​

This button opens the window ​Create Landing Page (window)​. The wizard guides you step by step through the creation of a website that is used as the landing page for marketing campaigns. For more information, see ​Create Landing Page (window)​.

​View​

This action opens the window​ Landing Page Preview​ in a separate window. The action view can also be initiated by clicking on the symbol .

​Edit​

This action opens the window ​Create Landing Page​, in which the selected landing page can be edited. For more information, see ​Create Landing Page (window)​.

​Copy​

This action creates a copy of the selected landing page and opens the window​ Create Landing Page​, in which the copied landing page is edited. For more information, see ​Create Landing Page (window)​.

​Publish​

This item opens the window ​3. Publish​, where you can create your desired settings for publishing the selected landing page.

​Deactivate​

This action deactivates the selected landing page. The landing page is then no longer accessible for customers. This item is only visible for published landing pages.

Available Information (columns of the table)​

The landing pages visible in the table are sorted by publication date. The most recently published landing page is displayed first in the table.

Information

Description

​Name​

Shows the name of the landing page in Engage. This name is only used to identify the name of the landing page within the Engage system.

​URL​

Displays the URL that accesses the landing page. The URL is generated when the landing page is created. If the URL is longer than the width of the column, it is only partially displayed. A mouseover displays the entire link.

​Owner​

Displays the name of the landing page owner. The owner is the user who created the landing page. If a landing page is copied, the user who copied the landing page is the owner.

​Created​

Displays the date and time on which the landing page was created.

​Last Published​

Displays the date and time on which the landing page was last published. For more information, see ​3. Publish​.

​Status​

Displays the status of the landing page. The following statuses are possible:

  • Inactive: A landing page has the status inactive when it is currently not accessible for customers. An inactive landing page can be one of two things:
    A landing page that has not yet been scheduled or published has the status inactive. Even if a redirection has been set up for this landing page, it will NOT apply in this case.
    A landing page that was previously published and then deactivated (either manually or at an automatic deactivation date) also has the status inactive. If redirection has been set up for this landing page, it will apply in this case.
  • Published: A landing page has the status published when it is published. A published landing page can be viewed by customers via the respective URL or using a search engine.
  • Scheduled: A landing page has the status published when a time and date for publishing have been set, but publishing has not yet occurred.

The Details Area​

In the Details​ area, additional information is displayed about the landing page currently selected in the table. The landing page is selected when it is highlighted orange in the table.

Information

Description

​Name​

This column shows the name of the landing page in Mapp Engage. This name is only used to identify the name of the landing page within the Mapp Engage system.

​Description​

This entry displays the description of the landing page defined during landing page creation. If no description was entered, this field remains empty. For more information, see ​Create Landing Page (window)​.

​URL​

This column displays the URL that accesses the landing page. The URL is generated when the landing page is created. If the URL is longer than the width of the column, it is only partially displayed. A mouseover displays the entire link.

​Owner​

This column displays the name of the landing page owner. The owner is the user who created the landing page. If a landing page is copied, the user who copied the landing page is the owner.

​Placeholder for link in email​

This entry displays the placeholder (Mapp Engage variable) that contains the URL for the landing page and recipient-specific parameters. This parameter transmits information about the recipient, e.g. the user ID, to the landing page. This enables the page to identify the visitor. Any personalisations used on the landing page are thus adapted to reflect the transmitted parameters, that is, the recipient identity.

​Redirection (after deactivation)​

This entry displays the URL of the website to which the user is redirected. Redirection only applies when the landing page has already been published and then deactivated at least once (either manually deactivated or automatically deactivated at a scheduled date and time). Redirection does not apply to inactive landing pages that were never published. Redirection is automatically deactivated when the landing page is deleted.

​Created​

This entry displays the date and time on which the landing page was created.

​First published​

This column displays the date and time on which the landing page was first published. Even if the landing page is unpublished and republished multiple times, only the date and time of first publishing appears in this column. If a landing page has never been published, the entry is empty exMapp Engaget for a —. For more information see ​3. Publish​.

​Last Published​

This column displays the date and time on which the landing page was last published. For more information see ​3. Publish​.

​Last Published​

This entry displays the name of the user who last published the landing page.

​Status​

This entry displays the status of the landing page. The following status are possible:

  • Deactivated: A landing page has the status deactivated when it is currently not accessible for customers. A landing page that has not yet been scheduled or published has the status deactivated. A landing page that was previously published and then deactivated (either manually or at an automatic deactivation date) also has the status deactivated.
  • Published: A landing page has the status published when it is published. A published landing page can be viewed by customers via the respective URL or using a search engine.
  • Scheduled: A landing page has the status published when a time and date for publishing have been set, but publishing has not yet occurred.

​Deactivation​

This entry displays the date and time on which the landing page will be deactivated, that is, not be accessible to customers. If no date is defined, the information ​Never expires​ is displayed.

​First visit date​

This entry displays the date and time when the first recipient visit to the landing page took place.

​Last visit date​

This entry displays the date and time when the most recent recipient visit to the landing page took place.

​Preview​

This area displays a preview of the landing page. This preview corresponds to the display in the web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox) currently in use. Problems that may occur when viewing the landing page in a different browser are not identified.
