Goal

To change the email header for one email sendout.

Background Information

During the message creation, you can create additional parameters that change information in the email header. These settings override the header that is defined in the sendout options for the group. For more information, see Group Settings.

To add a CC or BCC header, you need system permission 254 - Messaging: Create CC and BCC Header.

WARNING!

Changes to the header of your email can impact the deliverability of the message. If you have questions, contact your account manager.

If you use DMARC sender authentication, use one of the two possible formats for the from address.

  • Display Name <username@domain>

  • <username@domain>

Procedure

  1. Navigate to step 2. Content of the message creation wizard and expand the Advanced Options area.

  2. In the Email Headers area, click the  symbol to add two new parameter fields.
The first input field defines the characteristic or parameter to modify. The second input field identifies the value to use for the parameter.
These settings override the header information that is defined in the sendout options for the group.

  3. To modify the email header of a message, use the values in the following table.
