Goal​

To assign a category to a Content Store Element (CSE).

Prerequisite​

A CSE category or multiple CSE categories have been created. For more information, see ​Create New CSE Category​.

Background Information​

Content Store Element (CSE) categories are assigned to CSEs in Engage to make it easier to organize different types of files in the content store.

It is possible to assign more than one category to a CSE.

Procedure

  1. In the ​main navigation​ menu, click ​CMS​ > ​Content Store​.
    ⇒ The ​Content Store page is displayed.
  2. Next to the CSE to which you would like to assign a category, click Settings​.
    ⇒ The window ​CSE Settings​ opens.
  3. From the drop-down list Category​, select the desired category.
  4. Click Add​.
    ⇒ The category is applied to the CSE.
  5. To apply further categories to this CSE, repeat steps 3 and 4.
  6. To save the changes, click ​Save Settings​.
