Activate Profile-Based Automation

Goal

To activate a profile-based automation.

Prerequisite

You have created a profile-based automation.

Background Information

Engage does not process profile-based automations that have ​Inactive​ status.

Profile-based automations with ​Active​ status affect individual contacts when their profile changes. This profile change can be initiated via the API or in the Engage user interface. This automation does not apply to profile changes that result from an import of contact data.

Procedure

1. ​In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Automation​.
   ⇒ The ​Automations​ overview window opens.
2. Click ​Profile-based​.
   ⇒ An overview of the profile-based automations on your system opens.
3. Select the desired profile-based automation and click ​Activate​.
   ⇒ The profile-based automation is now active.
