Goal​

To activate an event-based automation. The system only executes active automations.

Background Information​

Activation changes the status of an automation to:

  • ​Scheduled ​if the automation has never been executed before.

  • ​Running​ if the automation has been executed at least once.

An active event-based automation is executed whenever the event takes place.

Procedure​

  1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Automation​.
    ⇒The ​Whiteboard Overview​ window opens.
  2. Click the ​Event-based​ tab.
  3. Select the checkbox of the automation you want to activate.
  4. At the bottom of the window, click the ​Activate​ button.
    ⇒The automation now has the status ​Active, Scheduled​ or ​Active, Running​.
