With pivot tables, Mapp Intelligence allows any dimension to be linked with different scopes. Depending on the selected configuration, very large amounts of data are processed. This can lead to longer calculation times.
However, the longer loading time is often not due to the calculation of the data, but to the complex display of a nested pivot table in the frontend. Especially if the data is exported from Mapp Intelligence, it is advisable to switch to a list view.
If you use pivot tables in reports and prefer the hierarchical view, you can reduce the complexity of the table by splitting the analysis. You can achieve this by
- fewer dimensions
- fewer metrics
- fewer filters
- a shorter period
