Prerequisites

  1. Web push must be enabled on your website. Therefore you need to:
    1. have a Firebase account
    2. integrate a JavaScript on your website (service worker)
    3. have authorized SSL on your website
    4. (optional) have a Mapp Intelligence account
  2. Web push must be activated in your Mapp Engage account. Talk to your customer success or account manager for more information.
  3. Customer opt-in - the notification can only be displayed if they have opted in.
  4. The device with the permission to receive web push notifications must be registered with the Push service Firebase.
