Goal

To archive an active coupon list.

Background Information

In Engage, coupons are managed in coupon lists. To ensure well-organized coupon management, each coupon list should only contain one type of coupon (for example, free shipping or 25% discount).

Points to consider about archiving a coupon list:

  • When coupon list data such as the coupon recipient and the message used for sending the coupon is exported, only the first 100 coupon lists are displayed in the selection window. For this reason, it may be preferable to archive coupon lists that are no longer in use.
Data from archived coupon lists cannot be exported. Once an archived coupon list is reactivated, the data is again available for export. Archiving does not delete the coupon data.

  • A coupon list must be archived before it is deleted.

It is not possible to add the placeholder of an archived coupon list to a message

However, if a list that is still in use (for example in a scheduled activity such as a birthday message) is archived after it was included in a message, coupons continue to be sent from the archived list as long as the supply of coupons lasts.

If a message contains the placeholder for a deleted list, it is not possible to start the sendout.
