To view your Direct Mail channel statistics:

  1. Go to Administration > Channels > Direct Mail Channels.
  2. Click the three dots next to the channel you want to check and then click Statistics.

  3. Select the desired automation from the drop-down list.

    Automation here means the mailing automation that you created in your optilyz account. It is not to be confused with Mapp's automations, or the Whiteboard. For more information see Create Direct Mail Message.

Type of statisticDescription

Sendout - statistics based on data in your Mapp Engage system

Number of contacts sentThe total number of contacts sent with the selected automation or channel.
Number of rejected contactsThe total number of rejected contacts within the selected automation or channel.
Validation - statistics automatically requested from your optilyz account

Number of contacts awaiting validationThe total number of contacts awaiting validation of mailing address within the selected automation.
Number of contacts with failed validationThe total number of contacts with failed validation of mailing address within the selected automation. The sendout process is not carried out for these contacts due to missing or incomplete mailing address information.
Number of contacts passed to the sendout processThe total number of contacts who passed validation of the mailing address. The sendout process is carried out for these contacts.
