Goal​

To automatically unsubscribe all recipients who send a reply to an email message.

Background Information​

When you send an email with Mapp Engage, the recipients can reply directly to the email. These replies can include auto-responses, questions, service requests or other feedback. Mapp Engage allows you to select how it handles these message replies.

One possibility is to treat all responses, regardless of their subject line or content, as an unsubscribe request. With the configuration described here, all recipients who send a reply to a message are unsubscribed from the group.

Procedure​

  1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Audience > Groups​.
    ⇒ The ​Group​ window opens.
  2. Click the  symbol next to the group.
    ⇒ The ​General Settings​ tab opens.
  3. Click the ​Reply Handling​ tab.
  4. From the ​Email Reply Handling​ drop-down list, select the ​Treat as Unsubscribe Request​ option.
  5. Click the ​Save​ button.
