Integrate the Detect AdBlock Plugin into the container in which the webpage to be measured is located.

To add plugins to the desired container, proceed as follows:

  1. In the container overview, select the required container by clicking the corresponding entry.

  2. Click [Add Plugin]. You will be forwarded to the overview of all available plugins.

  3. Select  "Detect AdBlock" by clicking the appropriate button. The plugin configuration dialog opens.

  4. Mapp Intelligence provides the file to be reloaded automatically via its CDN so that you can directly assign the plugin to all areas of your website on which the plugin is to be executed without further configuration.

Switch to the "Assign rules" configuration section to select the desired areas of your website.

  5. For an extended configuration of the plugin, enter the following information:

    ParameterDescription
    Custom URL

If you want to host the JavaScript file on another server, make the file available at http://advertiser.wbtrk.net/js/advertiser.js on that server. As soon as the file is stored there, enter the URL to your JavaScript without protocol (e.g. "HTTP://"), as this is set automatically by the plugin.

If your page is entirely or only partially accessible under HTTPS, then the file to be reloaded is also retrieved via HTTPS. Therefore, make sure that the stored URL is available under both HTTP and HTTPS.

Do not change the name and/ or content of the file. Otherwise, the loading of the file will not be prevented by ad blockers and/or the recorded data can no longer be correctly recorded.

Callback methodFrom the dropdown menu, select the previously created parameter that contains the callback method.
  6. Then click [Add plugin].

  7. Back to the container overview, click again [Add plugin] to add the custom plugin for the callback method.

  8. Finally, click [Publish] to update your container, including the newly added plugins.
