Select Export (window)

Navigation Path

1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Automations​ > Automations​ > Time-based​.
   ⇒ The ​Automations​  window opens to the Time-based​ tab.
   
2. Click ​Create​.
   ⇒ The Automation ​window opens to the step​  1. Edit Job​.
   
3. Enter a name and description for the automation.
   
4. From the Job​ drop-down list, select ​Generate Export​.
   ⇒ The page expands to allow you to define the export.
   
5. Next to the ​Export​ drop-down list, click the symbol.
   ⇒ The ​Select Export​ window opens.

Purpose​

In this window you select an export that you want to generate on an automatic schedule. This can be a one-time or repeating schedule.

You define exports in the ​Exports​ area. For more information, see ​Export Options in Mapp Engage.

You can filter the exports in the window by name, type, ID and owner.

Search Fields​

• Name: Searches for an export by name.

• Type: Searches for an export by type.

• ID: Searches for an export by ID. This is a unique number generated by the system and assigned when the export is defined.

• Owner: Searches for an export by owner. The owner is the system user who creates and defines the export.

Actions​

• Search: Filters the available exports according to the entered criteria.

• : Selects the desired export for automation. The window closes and you return to the ​Edit Time-based Job​ window. You can continue defining the automation.
