Navigation Path​

  1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Create​  New> ​Message
    ⇒ Step ​1. Type​ opens.
  2. Enter message information and select ​Email​ from the ​list.
  3. Click ​Create​ .
    ⇒ Step ​2. Content​ opens.
  4. Click ​Upload Message​.
    ⇒ The ​Upload Message Part​ window opens.
  5. Click ​CMS Message​ .
    ⇒ The window options adjust.
  6. Click ​Select CMS Message​ .
    ⇒ The​ Select CMS Message​ window opens.

Purpose​

In this window, you can select and import CMS messages that are saved in a connected Mapp Engage system. This feature allows you to import CMS messages from one Mapp Engage system into a different Mapp Engage system for sendout.

This feature allows you to import message settings and content accurately and efficiently.

The CMS message that you import can contain HTML and plain-text message parts. Message details and settings are imported with the content of the message.

  • Message name

  • Subject line

  • External message ID


Hint:

This window is only for customers who have multiple Mapp Engage systems.

The window is only available if a ​CMS Account​ record has been created in the Transfer Security area. For more information, see Enable CMS Access to a Connected System​.

If an error message appears when the window displays, check the ​CMS Account​ settings in the ​Transfer Security​ area.

If no messages are displayed in the window, verify the following.

  • Check whether there are CMS messages available in the connected Mapp Engage system.

  • Check that the API user set up to interface with the external system is assigned the relevant permissions.

Opens the ​Select CMS Message​ window. Here you can search and select a CMS message.

Select CMS message, click the symbol.

Imports the selected message. To finish the import, click ​​Upload​​ in the ​​Upload Message​ window.

Returns to step ​2. Content​ of the message creation wizard.

Information ​

Field

Description

​Message Name:​

Displays the name of the CMS message.

​Creation Date:​

Displays the date and time the CMS message was created in the external Mapp Engage system.

Change Display Options​

​Filter​

Filters the entries according to the values in the filter fields. It is possible to combine multiple filter criteria.

​Remove Filter​

Removes all filters and displays all available entries.

​Visible Rows​

Changes the number of rows that are displayed per page.

Navigates to the next or previous page of results. The arrows appear when not all entries can be displayed on one page.
