Purpose​

In this window, you can set a new password for your own account or the account of another system user.

What can I do in this window?

  • Set the password for new system users who are unable to create their own passwords.

  • Reset the passwords for existing system users, for example, if the system users forget their password and can no longer log in.

  • Set a new password at any time, for any other reason. For example, you want to create a more difficult password for your own account to increase security.

Procedures

Change Your Own Password

  1. In the main navigation, click the user icon on the top right corner of the page.
  2. Then click Account Settings >  New Password​. The ​New Password​ window opens.

Set the Password for Another System User

  1. In the ​main navigation​, click ​User Management​ > ​System Users​.
  2. In the ​Actions​ column, click  > Password​. The ​New Password​ window opens.​

​ New Password​

Defines the new password. New passwords must fulfill the following criteria:

  • The password is at least eight characters.
    The password must contain:

    • At least one lowercase character.

    • At least one uppercase character.

    • At least one symbol.

    • At least one number.

  • The password must be new and has not been used in the last 30 days.

  • The password must differ from the last 12 passwords you used for your account over one year.

  • The password has not been changed more than three times in the last 24 hours.

​Confirm Password​

Confirms the password entry a second time. This confirmation ensures that the password was entered exactly as desired.
