Reacts to Email Message versus Email Reaction
This event and filter sound similar. It is important to understand the difference.
| Email Reaction (Filter) | Reacts to Email Message (Event) |
---|
Summary | Email Reaction: The system only checks once whether the contact opened or clicked the email. The filter creates a defined window of time when contacts must react to the email. | Reacts to Email Message: The system monitors the contact continuously. The system moves the contact ahead on the whiteboard plan when the contact opens or clicks the email. The event reacts to contact email activity immediately. |
Non-split | At a certain time, the system checks whether a contact has reacted to the email. | |
Split | Due to a current limitation, this filter does not work for the split email sendout. | Yes: Contacts who react to the email continue to the next step on the left split path. No: After the timeout, all contacts who have still not reacted to the email continue to the next step on the other split path.
