Goal

To delete individual columns within a related data set.

Prerequisite

You have permission to create and edit related data sets.

  • You have permission to view, edit, and delete only your own related data sets: Permission 150 system_view_edit_own_related_data.

  • You have permission to view, edit, and delete all related data sets: Permission 153 system_edit_all_related_data.

Additionally, columns cannot be deleted if the dataset contains data. You can still archive it if needed.

Hint:

When data from a related data set is used in a message or in a selection, the placeholder or filter is not automatically updated. If you aren't sure, please check that no current processes need data from the related data set. Otherwise you may experience an error when trying to delete the column.
