With each tracking request, the following default parameters are passed - regardless of whether you use automatic or manual tracking:

It is possible to use the client timestamp of a tracking request to calculate a user's page duration.

Force a new session of a visitorA new session is started every time the user opens the app.
App first open

This parameter is tracked when the user opens the app for the first time after installing the mobile application from the Web or App Store.

Please note that this parameter is not tracked when

  • the app is reopened by the user or
  • the app is reopened after an app update

App update

This parameter is used to analyze how often an app has been updated.

When the end-user updates the app to a new version via the app or the Play Store, it is tracked via a predefined parameter.

This parameter analyzes whether users are utilizing the latest version of your app.
