Create a Location

Goal​

Procedure​

1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​​Contacts​ > ​​Location Manager​.
   ⇒ Locations overview opens.
2. Click ​Create Location​
   ⇒ Step​ 1. Info​ opens.
   • The name is used to identify the location within the system.
   • The location name has to be unique in the system.
   • The description is optional.
3. Click ​ Next​
   ⇒ Step​ ​2. Configure​ opens.
4. Define the location and define the diameter around the location. The maximum diameter is 500 m.
5. Click ​Next​
   ⇒ Step​ ​3. Cluster​​ opens.
   • None​ is the default option. With this option, your location is not added to any cluster.
   • ​Add to an existing cluster​. This option allows you to select one or multiple clusters from the list of existing clusters, to which your location is added.

   • ​Add to new cluster.​ This option opens a form with which you can create a cluster. Your location is added to the cluster once created.

6. Click ​Next​
   ⇒ Step​ 4. Delivery​ opens.

   • Define the starting date, time, and time zone for activating the location.

   • Schedule deactivation (optional).

   • Set one of two available repetition options.​

     • Daily​. By selecting daily repetition, you define an activation period for a location that is applied every day until the location is deactivated.​

     • Custom​. By selecting custom repetition, you can select specific days of the week and define the activation period within selected days

7. Click ​Next​
   ⇒ Step​ 5. Summary​ opens. Get an overview of the entire location setup you performed in previous steps. You can adjust the settings by clicking ​Previous​ to return to a specific previous step.

8. Click ​Save​
   ⇒ The​ Activate​ button is enabled.

9. Click ​Activate​
   ⇒ All settings are applied and your location, and remain active as defined.

10. Click ​Close​
    ⇒ Locations Management overview opens
